What do we want? How do we get it?
Picnics and sunshine, that’s what we want.
How about a picnic, in a medieval setting, right here in our own neck of the woods. Lydiate Abbey, which was built around the 1500’s, is the perfect setting. If you want some entertainment as well, why not come with your picnic to see ‘Dickie’s Meadow’.
As it says on the posters, bring your picnic, in-laws, friends and a quaff or two!
After a most enjoyable afternoon or evening, I’m sure the sunshine will be reflected in your faces.
See below for details. Tickets are available on line at www.ticketsource.co.uk/dean-taylor-productions by phone 01772466256, at the Scotch Piper Inn, or if room on the night.
Parking is at the rear of the Scotch Piper. If you forget your picnic don’t worry, there will be drinks available at the Inn and we will have stalls selling cakes, books, plants, handcrafted glass and information about Friends of The Abbey.
