Village Matters August 2018

VILLAGE MATTERS AUGUST 2018
Not a usual topic for Village Matters, but one we should be aware of.
Have you had things lost in the post? Never to be seen again. This does not matter if the item can be replaced, or is of no importance. However, some things are.
It has been brought to Village Matters attention that if we are asked for our GP’s address it is important that we give it accurately. Because of DATA protection surgeries do not necessarily communicate when patients reports from hospitals or insurance claims etc are incorrectly received.
For example, if you are registered with one of the three surgeries at the Maghull Health Centre on Westway, you must make it clear when giving the address which surgery you are registered with.
1. Dr Sapre is ‘The Family Clinic’
2. PCT practice is now ‘Maghull Practice UC24’
3. The third practice remains ‘Westway Surgery’
Wherever your GP practice is, if you are asked for the surgery address, make sure it is clear.
