VILLAGE MATTERS MAY 2017

Have we become a nation of voters?

If it’s not political council elections, mayoral elections, general elections referendum voting, you then have the top one hundred tunes, plays, wines, restaurants and so it goes on relentlessly, all to vote on.

Where does it get us? If indeed it gets us anywhere. I suppose the correct answer would be democracy, and for the more trivial voting – it is not compulsory, just difficult to ignore any of it, unless one becomes a hermit, in the hills or on an offshore island.

How about a vote to see where you consider the best place to escape the voting!

Only joking, enjoy your BBQ’s.
